Wooh! Christmas and wedding season took a toll, and I haven't had time to blog. Now, that things have slowed down, I want to feature a very beautiful bride, Brielle. She is out there changing the world, getting her PhD in social work. Needless to say, she was a very busy person, but she snuck in some time with me to plan her amazing wedding at Callanwolde. There are many reasons that I love Brielle, but one of the biggest is her love of social justice and the environment. For this reason, she chose us to design her wedding using only flowers
raised sustainably on our farm. You can see the bridesmaid below with some of the flowers we chose, all in sunset colors.
Brielle and Zach's wedding was in August, and you can imagine that it is really hot in Georgia during this month, so it's not our best season, but we did find some pretty sunset colors using phlox, sunflowers, love in a puff, tansy, and solidago. Brielle wanted a drapy foliage filled bouquet, and you can see below that she looked elegant and classically beautiful.
For Brielle's bouquet, we used clematis, dahlias, solidago, and hydrangea. We tied in the sunflower theme with the groomsmen's boutonierres.
Look at all of Brielle and Zach's photos. They were an amazing couple that will change the world for the better.
Sealing the deal under the trees and the chuppah!
For the reception, they chose to have the florals natural with the scents of herbs and fresh peaches.
Dahlias, peaches, and basil...mmmmm
Thank you for letting us be a big part of your day. Also, thanks to Michelle Scott Photography for the amazing job you do everytime!
